Emersion in History
Saint Petersburg Christian University continues its educating activity. As regularly, on Fridays, at 12:40 pm, the students and faculty meet with interesting in significant people in the Christian sphere.
This meeting was warm and in a family setting, because the students and faculty and staff of the university gathered to hear a presentation of new book of one of its eldest professors, Marina Sergeevna Karetnikova.
As she was presenting her work, Marina Sergeevna shared the contents and themes as well as the academic process. She included as well an encouraging word to the all the listeners, that the time in which we live in, is time to learn, receive education, and gain knowledge.
The historian's advice is cherished, as you study the realities of the past, 
you can take into account our ancestors and be inspired by their unique experience and sincere ministry. The main hero of Marina Sergeevna's last work is Ivan Venyaminovich Kargel.
The description of his biography and ministry is conveyed so lively that the reader is introduced to a live person, a mystery-person, a pillar of Russian Protestantism. A great merit is in the fact that historical personages become reality, to the historian studying his identity.
