A National Prayer Breakfast
A National Prayer Breakfast was held on May 18th, 2010 in the "Summer Palace" in St. Petersburg.
The National Prayer Breakfast - is a non-spiritual event held in more than 60 countries, with the participation of government representatives, leaders of social and political movements and structures, leaders of churches and religious organizations.
The main objective of the National Prayer Breakfast is the strengthening of peace and reconciliation in Russian society, including the Christians of all denominations, between believers and nonbelievers in our country, between the Christians and the major centers of Russian power.
The National Prayer Breakfast in Russia has been conducted annually since 1995 in Moscow and for the first time this year in St. Petersburg. It was organized by the Foundation for National Morning Prayer.
As part of the official part, after the national anthem of the Russian Federation, there were greetings of the President of the Board of Trustees of the Fund "National Morning Prayer", V.K. Vlasenko. A report of the Federal Bishop of North-West region of Russia the Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith Zalutsky was given by Nicholas Igorevich on "Socio-moral the influence of society and schools on the formation of personality ". A report by the ex-President Russian Baptist Unioin, Yuri Kirillovich Sipko, was given on the "Spiritual Formation of personality: history and current status". The solemn sounds of music was performed by the chamber orchestra "Credo".
Next, the representatives of the state Chief of relations with Religious Associations of the Administration of the Governor of St. Petersburg, L.A. Musienko, and the advisor to the Governor of the Leningrad region, V.L. Sanin, made a welcoming speech.

- The President of ACCF "Union of Christians", the president of channel TBN, Igor Nikitin
- The Rector of St. Petersburg Christian University, Doctor of Theology, Alexander Negrov prayed for the leaders of the Russian Federation, President Dmitry Medvedev, Prime Ministe,r Vladimir Putin, St. Petersburg Governor, Valentina Matvienko and the Governor of Leningrad Region, Valery Serdyukov.

In conclusion, the official part was awarding honorary awards and diplomas by the Fund "National Morning Prayer" in the following categories:
For faithfulness to vocation
- The Giver of hope
- For the protection of the individual
- For media coverage of religious life in Russia.
It was ended in a solemn part by a performance of the pantomime group «So-Tvorenie» titled "Look at the Lamb".
The leaders of Protestant associations present at the prayer breakfast were about 200 people who prayed out the Lord's Prayer.
By tradition, prayer breakfasts continue after the official part of the banquet, where participants continued to communicate to the sounds of classical music.
