Theological English
- This course presents an integrated system of learning English as a foreign
language with particular emphasis on the development of reading skills,
understanding and interpreting the reading material. By what textual material
contains vocabulary of religious, biblical and theological nature, and
grammatical unit mainly includes general education and home language, the
student receives a full lexical development in linguistic terms. Relevance of
the course is that after the development of the student can independently read
and understand the theological literature in English (though, needless to say
that all the best literature on theology written in German or English), participate
in debates or conferences on theology.
World Religions
- The course is designed to familiarize students with the basic world
religions: Hinduism, Jainism, Sikhism, Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism,
Shintoism, Judaism, Islam, Yezidizm, Zoroastrianism, and Christianity.
Relevance of the course is that it helps create a respectful attitude towards
religion and the concept of non-neglect of world religions, as the phenomenon
of spiritual life, builds a culture, to teach worldview dialogue and understand
the people with another way of thinking, forms of the students of their
position in relation to the contemporary theology of religion.
Biblical Theology
- This course is one of the basic training course as it helps consolidate the
skills of correct operating theological terminology, provides a graduate of the
necessary scientific tools to participate in interfaith dialogues,
significantly increases the overall level of knowledge of graduates of
Christianity as a whole, is deploying the widest possible panorama of
theoretical views of theologians, past and present. As you study the main
themes of the OT and NT, the student will be able to independently find them on
the pages of Scripture, as well as understand the basic concepts of theological
thought in the light of unity and diversity in the canon of the Bible.
Course on the Old
Testament, this course is aimed at studying the prophecies and organize
minor prophets, examines the typology of prophecy, the unity of their
theological content of their linguistic expression and typical characters. The
course also includes learning the basic methods of exegetical studies prophetic
texts. Relevance of the course is to improve the overall biblical-theological
and historical culture of the students in shaping the knowledge of texts minor
prophets of the OT and their interpretation in a historical context, involving
philological analysis, using data of the latest archaeological and textual
research with students during the course understand the relevance of the topic
in today's Christian life, as well as in the ancient church, and students form
a sense of locality in terms of problems related to the interpretation of the
Holy Scriptures of the Old Testament.
